Just One Thing - a series of informal networking events

Do you ever find you get to Friday and you’ve not got to the important stuff, instead your time has been swallowed up by your inbox?

Would you love some more energy to spend on the projects that excite and matter to you?

Perhaps you feel like by the time you get to hang out with your friends and family you’re too tired to enjoy it?

Maybe you feel frustrated that you get dragged into the admin and the chat of work and never get time for the tasks you want to be focus on?

Work life in 2024 can zap our energy. We have the ability to stay connected to the world at all times, but this isn’t always good for our wellbeing. Demands from colleagues, managers and clients can lead us to feel out of control. But there are many things we do have choice around, and when we focus on those things it helps us to manage not just our time, but our energy.

What would it be like to get to Friday and not only feel like we’d focused on the stuff that really had an impact inside and outside of work, but also there was something left in the tank for fun times with our friends and family, for engaging in a passion project or doing a hobby we love.

Understanding, valuing and managing our time AND energy and not expecting ourselves to be top of our game 24/7 can lead to feeling more productive, and also happier.

Doesn’t that sound good?
